Flames Fall 3-2 Against Vegas - Game Recap

Vegas earned a 3-2 victory over Calgary behind a 2-goal performance from Reilly Smith on Saturday at Scotiabank Saddledome.

Reilly Smith(2), and Pavel Dorofeyev each scored for the Golden Knights in the victory. Dorofeyev opened the scoring for Vegas.

Akira Schmid turned in a 21-save effort for the Golden Knights.

Calgary got goals from Joel Hanley, and Matt Coronato in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Calgary got a 31-stop effort from Dustin Wolf in the loss.

On the power play, Vegas went 0-for-2, while the Flames were 0-for-4 with the man advantage.

Vegas outshot Calgary 34-23 in the game.

Vegas heads into a battle against the Canucks. Calgary, meanwhile, will have their next action against San Jose.
