Recap - Golden Knights Defeat Boston 6-5

Vegas got a pair of goals from William Karlsson as the Golden Knights skated to a 6-5 victory over Boston on Thursday at T-Mobile Arena.

Vegas won as a -220 favorite, while Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 6.0 were rewarded at the payout window.

William Karlsson(2), Jack Eichel, Tomas Hertl, Cole Reinhardt, and Pavel Dorofeyev each scored for the Golden Knights in the victory. Dorofeyev opened the scoring for Vegas.

Akira Schmid turned in a 19-save effort for the Golden Knights.

Boston got goals from Mark Kastelic, Tanner Jeannot, Nikita Zadorov, Michael Eyssimont, and David Pastrnak in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Boston got a 31-stop effort from Jeremy Swayman in the loss.

On the power play, Vegas went 2-for-6, while the Bruins were 1-for-3 with the man advantage.

Boston lost the shots on goal battle to Vegas by a margin of 37-24.

Vegas heads into a battle against the Flames. Boston, meanwhile, will have their next action against Colorado.
