Las Vegas - Looking at the American Athletic Conference championship game between Tulane and SMU. The Mustangs from Dallas have scored 55, 69, 36, 45, 38 and 59 points in their last six games, so, why is the Over/Under total ONLY 46.5? We have answers. SMU's starting QB, Preston Stone, broke his fibula last week in the Navy game and his season is OVER! Stone was AMAZING this year, hitting on 206 of 344 for 3,197 yards, with 28 TDs and 6 INTs. That has forced the Mustangs to turn to freshman Kevin Jennings who has thrown just 24 passes for 224 yards. That's a GIGANTIC disparity, and it's gonna be impossible to bridge that gap. Especially against a Tulane team that has Makhi Hughes, the leading rusher in the AAC with 1,246 yards. Quarterback Michael Pratt who leads the conference in passing efficiency (164.9). The Green Wave also have the top run defense in the conference, and the cherry on top, HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE! Willie Fritz's teams know how to close a season. Last year, they won four in a row, including the title game against UCF and the Cotton Bowl against USC. And since they've been a PERFECT 4-0 in November, about to get my wet suit on and gonna ride the Wave all the way to the bank!

Got a little taste in the Big 12 title tilt between Texas and Oklahoma State as well. It's an IF bet. If the Cowboys are losing big at the end of the 1st half, then we buy a large chunk of the Okies to cover the spread in the second half. Why? In the last two games, the Pokes outscored Houston and BYU 56-17 after halftime.

For your wagering pleasure, here are your spread stats of the day for the SEC Championship game. Georgia comes in with a straight up 12-0 perfecto, but against the spread, it ain't pretty. The Bulldogs have covered only four of 11 with one push. The Dawgs have never been a dog and have covered only two of five on the road. On the totals board, Georgia has gone Over six times and Under six times. Alabama rolls into Atlanta with an 11-1 straight up mark, and has covered seven of 11. The Crimson Tide have never been a dog and have covered three of five on the road. On the totals board, 'Bama has gone Over nine times and Under twice with one push.
