Las Vegas - A little afternoon action on the MLB board and we're gonna throw down on the Guardians over the Mets. Cleveland is sitting on top of the A.L. Central with a 31-17 record (not including last night) and one of the reasons is Triston McKenzie. If you just looked at his 2-3 record, you would probably say, yo Eck, why? And of course we would throw some numbers at you. Okay, you've seen that he has not won a game since April 9, but the Guardians have won four of the last five games that McKenzie has started. And his last three outings have been smoke, allowing only 3 earned runs over 18 innings for a skinny 1.50 ERA. Gimme the 'Land for the money.

Now we bounce up to Minnesota for a look at the Western Conference Final. First lemme give you the results from the regular season. The first game was in Dallas but the T'Wolves (-2) posted a 119-101 win over the Mavericks. The Over/Under total was 231.5 and was an easy Under. The next game was in Minnesota and the Wolves (-12) beat the Mavs 118-110. The total was 228.0 which turned into a push. The third meeting was in Dallas and the Mavs (+2) picked up a 115-108 W. The total was 234.5 and went low. The final regular season game was in Minny and the T'Wolves (-13) BUSTED UP Dallas 121-87. But plz note that Luka and Kyrie both missed that game. The total was 221.5 and went WAY Under. Looked at the Mavericks, specifically in the opening games of their two playoff series, on the road, and the results have been kinda ugly. In the first game at Los Angeles, against the Clippers, the Mavericks (-3.5) came up on the short end of a 109-97 score. In the opener against the Thunder in OKC, the Mavs (+3.5), got smoked, 117-95. Not saying they're gonna lose by more than 20 points, but the Wolves -4 look like a tasty treat on their home floor.
