Las Vegas - Starting the day with a little afternoon MLB out West and gonna grab the Padres over the A's. San Diego will send Michael King to the hill and he has been very steady after two months of some good and some bad. His last three outings caught my attention as he has allowed only 2 earned runs over 17 innings for a gorgeous 1.06 ERA. Bank of Benj is open for the Padres.

Now we head to Dallas where the Mavericks are looking to avoid an 0-3 hole/death sentence. We know that NO team has EVER come back after trailing 0-3, so this IS a must win for the Mavs. Of course it is, but lemme throw out a couple of numbers that have me worried for Mark Cuban's squad. The Celtics have won NINE in a row overall and come to Texas on a SIX & OH road run in the playoffs. And they've taken a 2-0 lead in the series without any magic from Jayson Tatum. No matter what Jason Kidd said, we're saying that Tatum is Boston's best player. We love Jaylen Brown, but Tatum is a notch above. However, the first two games in the Finals have been, lets call it, kinda ugly. In game one, Tatum was 6-16 overall (37.5%), 3-7 (42.9%) from downtown and scored only 16 points. In game two, he was 6-22 overall (27.3%), 1-7 (14.3%) from downtown and scored 18 points. This is a kid that averages 47.1% from the field during the regular season and 37.6% from deep. Think we might be looking at a 30+ point explosion from JT. Then we look at Luka and you can't help but notice the guy is struggling. The medical says the he has a thoracic contusion, a right knee sprain, and left ankle soreness. Maybe that's why he is playing 'matador defense.' So, the bets are Over 25.5 points for Tatum and a little tickle on the Celtics plus the points. Actually just got word that Kristaps Porzingis suffered a torn medial retinaculum allowing dislocation of the posterior tibialis tendon in his left leg. Not sure about all the medical terms, but it AIN'T GOOD! So, we'll keep the Tatum prop, and wash the Boston pick.

And we're going a day early with a trifecta of betting options for the U.S. Open at Pinehurst. Gotta take the BEST player in the world, Scottie Scheffler at 3/1 odds. Also gonna try Collin Morikawa at 15/1 and my long shot, Min Woo Lee at 70/1. Also thinking about Rory to make the Top 10 at +$115 and Will Zalatoris to make the Top 40 at -$120.
