Las Vegas - Hate to keep picking on the A's, but gotta throw my bundle of chips in the opposite direction. The Rangers send Nathan Eovaldi to the bump and when he is right, he is basically impossible to hit. Just ask the Yankees and Angels, his last two opponents. Eovaldi tossed a nine inning shutout at New York and fed the Angels eight innings worth of bagels. That's 17 innings of nothing but ZEROES and that's worth a Texas tumble.

Las Vegas - Not thrilled with the Cubs early 17-18 record (not including last night), but they do have an early Cy Young candidate by the name of Justin Steele. With a 5-0 record and a 1.45 ERA, Steele is certainly a name to keep in your back pocket. His overall numbers are very sweet, but his work at Wrigley Field borders on STUPID! He has started four games at the Friendly Confines and has allowed only 2 earned runs over 24 innings which works out to an INVISIBLE 0.75 ERA.

Las Vegas - Mark me down as a BELIEBER! Not for the music man from Canada, Justin, but the right arm from Cleveland, Shane. The baseball Bieber has been rock solid the last few years, with a 2.88 ERA in 2022 and a 2.96 so far this season. Shane won a Cy Young in 2020 with an 8-1 record, a SKINNY 1.63 ERA and 122 Ks in only 77 innings on the hill.

Las Vegas - My guy Zac Gallen finally gave up an earned run, actually three of 'em, after throwing 27 innings worth of bagels. However, have to tell you that start was on the road. At home inside Chase Field, Gallen has NOT given up an earned run yet this season. We're talking about 20 innings worth of ZEROES and a STUNNING total of 34 Ks. What? Yea, THIRTY FOUR Ks in 20 innings. Don't really care who is on the hill for the Marlins, because this all about the Gallen.

Las Vegas - Gonna skate on to the ice out in Seattle tonight, and throw an Over/Under play at you. Looked over the Kraken/Stars games this season, and the operative word is HIGH. In the two playoff games at Dallas to open the series, we had a 5-4 score and 4-2 final. Both Overs. Back in March, they played three times, once in Dallas and twice in Seattle. The game in Texas finished 5-4, and the two in Seattle closed 4-3 and 5-2. So, basically, Over/Over/Over.
