Las Vegas - First a little history as we look at the NFC Championship Game. This ain't the first time that Jalen Hurts and Brock Purdy shared a field. Back in 2019, Iowa State went to Norman to play the Sooners. The Cyclones started the fourth quarter down 42-21. Purdy caught fire and came up just one point short, 42-41, when the final gun sounded. Brock had a day. He was 19 of 30 for 282 yards and FIVE TDs. He also scampered for 55.

Las Vegas - Gonna bounce out West and tickle the Raptors over the Warriors tonight. Golden State is coming off a pretty crazy game against the Grizzlies, a two point win (122-120) where Steph Curry got ejected for throwing his mouthpiece. The Raptors will be looking for a little payback after losing to the Dubs in Toronto back in December, 126-110. Toronto has covered three in a row and seven of the last 10, and if you can buy the hook to plus six, then gimme the North for the money.

Las Vegas - Checked into the Doctor yesterday for my yearly physical, which is why we're taking a pass on the card tonight. Everything looked VERY good. THX for asking. Blood pressure solid. Cholesterol well under 200. Heart ticking. Lungs clear. Temp right on 98.6. They also did a memory/neurological test. They give you three words, then hand you a piece of paper with an empty clock face. You have to fill in all the numbers of the clock, then they ask you to set the hands to like 8:20.

Las Vegas - Welcome to the MULLETT! No, not a hair style but rather the ice hockey arena that the Arizona Coyotes will call home for the next three years. It's on the campus of Arizona State University and the Sun Devils have scheduling priority over the Coyotes. And this space is rather intimate, as in ONLY 5,025 seats. The Coyotes live on the lower end of the NHL spectrum with a 15-27-5 record, but the Ducks are the absolute ROCK BOTTOM at 13-29-5.
