Las Vegas - Got a horse racing guy, doesn't everyone, and he tells me that Taiba is worth a crack at odds of around 12/1. He has only started twice as a three year old, but he has won BOTH. Taiba also has a Beyer Speed Figure of over 100 in both races. And his jockey, 'Money' Mike Smith, might be 56 years old, but he KNOWS how to win. Las Vegas - Gonna tickle the Red Sox with Nathan Eovaldi over the White Sox and Vince Velasquez. Eovaldi has been VERY stingy, allowing only 3 earned runs over the last 18 innings for a skinny 1.50 ERA. Not at all impressed with Chicago's Velasquez this season, or, since he started his career back in 2015. Double V has a lifetime 32-46 record with a 4.94 ERA. And in his four starts this season, he has been rocked for 19 hits and 9 earned runs in just 17 innings.

Las Vegas - Another crack at afternoon baseball and we're on the Brewers over the Reds. Feel bad for Cincy and the 3-21 record, but Milwaukee ain't gonna show any sympathy. Neither is Adrian Houser who has won his last two starts and allowed just four earned runs over the last 18 innings. On the other side of the field, Hunter Greene has been rocked, actually, CRUSHED, giving up 15 hits and 9 earned runs in the last 12 innings.

Las Vegas - Start out with a little afternoon baseball down in Houston where we're locking down the Astros with Justin Verlander over the Mariners. Verlander missed the ENTIRE 2021 season and pitched just once in 2020. Expectations for 2022 were somewhere between maybe and hopeful. Well, Justin just BLEW maybe and hopeful away, and is on the road to, ARE YOU KIDDING ME! He has started four games, won two, has a ridiculous 1.73 ERA, with 28 Ks in just 26 innings. Gimme JV for the money!
