Then we take Utah State and bump the Aggies up from +22.5 to +32.5 points against Vanderbilt. The Commodores are off to a 4-0 start and just pancaked a lousy Georgia State team last week, 70-21. But the problem is, they have a visit to Alabama coming up next week. Last year, in the week prior to the 'Bama game, Vandy wound up on the short end of a 30-27 score against Missouri. Did anyone say LOOK AHEAD? No doubt that the 'Dores win, but it ain't gonna be by more than 30. Close it out under the lights at State College for a delicious matchup between #3 Penn State and #6 Oregon. We're gonna pump up the Ducks from +3.5 to +13.5 points over the Nittany Lions. Respect what James Franklin has done with the Lions but he has had trouble beating the cream of the Big Ten crop. His record against Ohio State and Michigan since 2021 is 0-7. Yea, OH & SEVEN! With Oregon moving into the Big Ten, there's more cream at the top. Dan Lanning has been exceptional the last three plus years in Eugene, posting a ridonkulous 39-6 record. And the last four regular season games that the Ducks lost, were by 3 points, four points and three points twice. Could Penn State win? Sure. Will they? Maybe. By 14 points? NAH!

On the MLB board, gotta throw some chips at the Guardians over the Rangers. Cleveland has put together a comeback for the ages, climbing out of an enormous hole to sit on top of the American League Central with Detroit. The Guardians have won 17 of the last 20 and hold the tiebreaker against the Tigers. And it looks like this Texas club is cleaning the golf clubs instead of playing winning baseball, losing nine of the last 10 (not including last night). Riding Uncle Mo and the Guards straight to a deposit in the Bank of Benj.
