Las Vegas - Gotta come back with the Orioles again today and the reason is simple. Two words...Trevor Rogers. If you looked at Rogers stats when he was with the Marlins from 2020-2024, there is NO WAY you, me or anyone could have predicted his work this season. Trevor was 15-32 with Miami and his ERA was mostly north of 4.00. He was traded to Baltimore in the middle of last season and was 0-2 with a 7.11 ERA in four starts. Then 2025 hit. Not sure how or why, but Rogers has been nails since jumping back into the rotation at the end of May. He has won six of eight decisions and has THE BEST ERA in the American League (starting pitchers) at 1.41. However, he does not qualify for the ERA title because a pitcher must pitch at least one inning per team games played during the season. Rogers has pitched only 72 innings while the O's have played 128 games. And Trevor LOVES to pitch at Camden Yards where he tossed 28 innings and allowed only two earned runs this season for a RIDONKULOUS 0.64 ERA. Houston will send Spencer Arrighetti to the hill, and he has been kinda ugly since coming off the DL, giving up 19 hits and 12 earned runs in just 13 innings. Bank of Benj is wide open in Baltimore and this guy is ready to eat some clams on the half shell.
