kremer with that

Las Vegas - Gotta take a pass on Nathan Eovaldi tonight after he was scratched from his start on Wednesday because of a cranky back. Just not sure how bad the back is, so we'll move on to other options.
Looking at the Orioles with Dean Kremer over the Rockies. Baltimore has been a YUGE disappointment this season, sitting at 45-57 in the American League East dungeon. One of the few bright spots is big righty Dean Kremer. With eight wins, Kremer has won almost 20% of the Orioles games. He had just one lousy outing in his last six starts, giving up five earned runs in four innings on the road against the Braves. The other starts, in order, were five innings, one earned, five innings, one earned, seven innings, no earned, seven innings, no earned and seven innings, one earned. Even better, Kremer's last two starts at home were ALL BAGELS (14 innings, ZERO earned runs). Hate to pick on the Rockies, but I'm picking and expecting another deposit into the Bank of Benj.
Another pitcher who has been on a sweet run is San Diego's Nick Pivetta. May 11 was the last time Pivetta lost a game and his last five outings have been magic, with only two earned runs allowed over 31 innings for a ridonkulous 0.58 ERA. Padres for the money.
