Las Vegas - Cleveland went on a nice run at the end of July into early August, winning nine of 10, but then the roof started to cave. The Guardians have dropped seven of the last 10 and will be facing one of the toughest arms in the American League, Nathan Eovaldi. Since coming off the DL, Eovaldi has had one ugly start, but he hasn't lost a game since May 22 (7-0). Slade Cecconi was rocking the party for the Guardians, from the middle of June to the middle of August, winning four of five. However, his right arm turned to jelly the last two times out, allowing 18 hits and 11 earned runs over 7 innings. OUCH! Cecconi threw 27 innings in his first year with Arizona, then 77 innings last season. He is already at 90 innings this season and it's kinda obvious that fatigue is a real issue. Bank of Benj is wide open deep in the heart of Texas.
