Las Vegas - Deep in the heart of Texas for a look at the Rangers/A's game. Texas hands the ball to Tyler Mahle and the big righty is off to a great start. He is 3-0 and pitching to a skinny 1.14 ERA. Even more impressive is his work at home inside Globe Life Field. Mahle's last three starts in Arlington (18 innings, ZERO earned runs) have produced a basket full of bagels. Gimme the Rangers for the money.

Riding the Zamboni out in Edmonton tonight as the Oilers look to close out the Kings and move on. Edmonton opened the series in Los Angeles losing twice, actually getting punched in the face. The Oilers gave up 12 goals in L.A. and looked like they were about to start polishing their golf clubs. They returned home to Rogers Place, posted two wins, 7-4 and 4-3, then went back to Hollywood and picked up a 3-1 W. Edmonton is getting stronger with each game and know how to close out a series. In the run to the Stanley Cup Final last season, they were 3-0 in close out games to move on to the next round. And since the Kings are under water on the road with a 17-21-5 record, we're buying Oil.
