Las Vegas - Looking at the American League Central tonight, specifically the Twins. Looks like Minnesota is not gonna dance into the playoffs, but the home/away splits caught my eye. At home, Minny has put together a solid 28-20 record (not including last night), while the road record is uglified at 21-33. And the Twins trot their All Star pitcher to the hill, Joe Ryan. With a 10-4 record, Ryan has gobbled up over 1/5 of the Twinkies wins. He has won nine of his last 11 and allowed only five earned runs over the last 31 innings for a 1.45 ERA. Spice it up with 36 Ks over those 31 frames and you can see why the Bank of Benj is wide open in the Twin Cities.
