Las Vegas - Gonna make a quick stop at the Arch and grab St. Louis over Pittsburgh. Must have Miles Mikolas on the hill for the Cards. Why? Mikolas has thrown 11 innings worth of bagels in his last two starts, while the Pirates Carmen Mlodzinksi has been ripped for 25 hits and 14 earned runs over the last 17 innings. Ouch! Gotta gimme St. Loo for the money.

Dribbling on to the NBA hardwood. Not gonna bother with the Celtics/Knicks series because I bleed New York. So on to the Thunder vs. the Nuggets. First some history. These teams met in the season opener at Denver, but OKC (+2) rolled to an easy 102-87 victory. The Over/Under closed at 228.5 and went way low. They hooked up again in Denver, but the Nuggets (+7) squeezed out a 124-122 victory. The Over/Under closed at 224.5 and went way high. Then the teams played back-to-back in early March in Oklahoma City. The Thunder (-7.5) took the first game 127-103. The Over/Under closed at 242.5 and went low. The following night, the Nuggets (+9.5) rocked the party with a 140-127 W. The Over/Under closed at 240.5 and went way high. OKC closed out the Grizzlies in four and have not played since April 26. Nine days rest. We all saw the Nuggs forced to a game seven against the Clippers and will have ONE DAY to get ready for the BEST home team in the NBA (37-6). The Thunder come in with 19 wins in their last 21 games overall and nine of the last 10 at the Paycom Center. Tough call here. Not thrilled about laying 9 and a hook, but also not crazy about the money line, laying around $400 to win back $100. Looking at the money line, but just a very light tickle.
