U Conn

Las Vegas - Not even a change of hotel in Vegas could stop Connecticut. Not gonna mention the name of the hotel they had to leave, but if the UConn people called me, I woulda told them to STAY AWAY! Before we get to the pick, lemme start with a warning. I was on the wrong side of the Gonzaga/TCU game in one of the WORST bad beats ever. Was also on the wrong side when Gonzaga squeezed out a miracle win against UCLA Thursday night. But when we found out that UCLA was missing two starters, we WASHED the bet. So, tonight, going against the Zags and taking Connecticut to march on to the Final Four in Houston. Watched the entire UCLA/Gonzaga game, it was fabulous, but the Bruins had ONLY two guys that could score the ball. After Jaime Jaquez and Tyger Campbell, there was NOTHING. Connecticut has a gorgeous offensive flow and the defense is pretty stout as well. Sadly, UCLA had no one to guard Drew Timme, and he scorched the Bruins for 36 points. Think that Adama Sanogo will have something to say about that, and don't think he is gonna rack up over 30 tonight. Actually, I'll bet on it. Anyone wanna piece of me? The Huskies have covered eight of the last nine and should be able to roll into the Final Four.
