Las Vegas - Looking at Captain Kirk and the Vikings +2.5 points over the Eagles tonight. Minny QB Cousins is one of the most accurate arms in the NFL, and last week against the Packers was no exception as he hit on 23 of 32 for 277 yards, with two TDs and no INTs. The Vikes also got a solid boost from the ground game with RB Dalvin Cook gobbling up 90 yards and Alexander Mattison adding 36. And the defense was NASTY, holding Aaron Rodgers and the Packers to just seven points in the opener.

Las Vegas - Gonna roll with the NY Giants in the early window at -2 points over the Panthers. Like everyone else, we LOVE what first year head coach Brain Daboll did last week going for the 2-point conversion to win the game. Also LOVE what Saquon Barkley did, rumbling for 164 yards. Also LOVE what QB Daniel Jones did, completing 17 of 21 (81%) for 188 yards with 2 TDs. And that was all against a Titans defense that is usually pretty stingy and WAS the NUMBER ONE seed in the AFC last season.

Las Vegas - Gonna tickle Syracuse -1 point over Purdue at high noon. Orange head coach Dino Babers hasn't had a solid season since 2018 when 'Cuse posted a 10-3 record. The last three years have been lousy to ugly. It was 5-7 in 2019, 1-10 in 2020 and 5-7 in 2021. But Dino is loaded this season, with nine returning players on offense and 8 on defense. And the returnee we're looking at is Garrett Shrader at QB.

Las Vegas - HATE to do this, but gotta roll with the Red Sox over the Royals this evening. Boston sends Michael Wacha to the hill and all he does is win. Wacha has put together a PHENOMENAL 11-1 mark with a 2.69 ERA and has not lost a game since May 31. The Sox are coming off a truly EMBARRASSING loss to the Yankees this past Wednesday night, and should be able to get back on track against the Royals. If you didn't know, they named a milkshake after Wacha when he was with St. Louis.

Las Vegas - Everyone is fitting Kansas City for Super Bowl rings and betting on Patrick Mahomes for MVP. Naturally, Patrick leads the league in most QB categories (360 yards, 5 touchdowns and a passer rating of 144.2), but C'MON people, it was just week ONE! Sure the Chiefs stomped on the Cardinals, 44-21, but lets not give out all the awards yet. And if you were wondering about the wrist injury, it was Mahomes' left wrist, so no worries.
