Las Vegas - Another ride on the Zamboni tonight, gonna play the total, and go OVER 5.5 in the Colorado/Vegas game. Skatin' & scorin' is exactly what these two West Division clubs are doing. The Avalanche have scorched the net, scoring 4, 8, 5, 6, 5 and 4 goals in their last six games. My calculator tells me that's an average of 5.3 goals per game. Vegas has not been as prolific scoring 5, 5, 2, 5, 4, 1 and 5 in their last seven. That works out to an average of a 3.8 goals per.

The Beard is listed as questionable with a neck issue, and if he's out, the Nets go from the Big Three to the little, teeny, tiny eight.

Las Vegas - No dancing till Saturday, so we'll take a look at the NBA and try the Blazers over the Nets. Normally, we would look at Brooklyn in this spot, but the team is thinner than Olive Oyl in the Popeye comics. Las Vegas - Thought that Gonzaga might take its foot off the proverbial gas pedal against Norfolk State after going up by 30. But nah, the Zags kept on firing and wound up winning by FORTY THREE! Looks like the Bulldogs wanna be the first team since the Indiana Hoosiers to complete a perfect season and win the national crown. Not only do the Zags have GOBS of offense, they can D up as well. They harassed Norfolk all game and the kids from Virginia wound up shooting an UGLY 19 of 62.

Las Vegas - We absolutely love Sister Jean Dolores Schmidt, Loyola-Chicago’s 101-year-old chaplain and good-luck charm, but gotta roll with Illinois in a two team 6-point teaser. Sure, Sister Jean is a feel good story, and I'm praying to hit triple digits like her, but this Illini team is just WAY TOO talented. Loyola had a solid win against Georgia Tech, but Tech had to play without star forward Moses Wright, who was sidelined for COVID-19 protocols.
