Las Vegas - You know that we have been BEST BETTING and riding Oregon State to the bank the last couple of weeks, but we're getting off the Beavers tonight. And the reason, among others, is Houston head coach Kelvin Sampson. We all know that Sampson has had problems and violations along the way, sitting out for six years due to a show-cause order from the NCAA, but the man can COACH 'EM UP! He got his clipboard back in Houston for the 2014/15 season, and the sad sack Cougars were just 13-19.

Las Vegas - You can't teach size. These two Pac-12 rivals met in Los Angeles back in February, and USC crushed Oregon, 72-58. Looked at the box score of that game, and the Trojans absolutely WRECKED the Ducks on the glass, with a GINORMOUS 39-25 advantage. Of course revenge enters into the equation, but can't see Oregon getting past SC's size. And then there's the Mobley brothers. Evan, the freshman, the Pac-12 Player of the Year and a legit high 1st round NBA draft pick, is a load.

Las Vegas - Still a day away from the Sweet Sixteen, but gotta jump on Oral Roberts +11.5 points before the line changes. We might be missing something, but ELEVEN & A HOOK? Are you KIDDING ME? These teams played back in December, AT Arkansas, and the Razorbacks posted an 87-76 win, but the Golden Eagles had NO trouble covering the 19.5 point spread. Again, the game was AT Arkansas. Now, the game is on a neutral court, the spread is 11.5, and Oral is playing its best ball of the season.

Las Vegas - Another ride on the Zamboni tonight, gonna play the total, and go OVER 5.5 in the Colorado/Vegas game. Skatin' & scorin' is exactly what these two West Division clubs are doing. The Avalanche have scorched the net, scoring 4, 8, 5, 6, 5 and 4 goals in their last six games. My calculator tells me that's an average of 5.3 goals per game. Vegas has not been as prolific scoring 5, 5, 2, 5, 4, 1 and 5 in their last seven. That works out to an average of a 3.8 goals per.
