Las Vegas - Thought that Gonzaga might take its foot off the proverbial gas pedal against Norfolk State after going up by 30. But nah, the Zags kept on firing and wound up winning by FORTY THREE! Looks like the Bulldogs wanna be the first team since the Indiana Hoosiers to complete a perfect season and win the national crown. Not only do the Zags have GOBS of offense, they can D up as well. They harassed Norfolk all game and the kids from Virginia wound up shooting an UGLY 19 of 62.

Las Vegas - We absolutely love Sister Jean Dolores Schmidt, Loyola-Chicago’s 101-year-old chaplain and good-luck charm, but gotta roll with Illinois in a two team 6-point teaser. Sure, Sister Jean is a feel good story, and I'm praying to hit triple digits like her, but this Illini team is just WAY TOO talented. Loyola had a solid win against Georgia Tech, but Tech had to play without star forward Moses Wright, who was sidelined for COVID-19 protocols.

Las Vegas - Gonna start with the team that most are picking to win the crown, Gonzaga. The Zags get Norfolk State, and the spread is THIRTY FOUR POINTS! What! Obviously, Gonzaga is LIGHT YEARS ahead of Norfolk, but these Spartans from Virginia might make the game ugly. And once the 'Zags get up by 40 points, they'll probably take a few of the starters out, and this becomes prime real estate for a back door cover. But this is just a tickle.
