McConnell

----------------------------------------------------
Las Vegas - Impossible to handicap this game until we know if Tyrese Haliburton is gonna play. According to multiple reports, Haliburton is believed to have suffered a strained right calf and will undergo an MRI to determine the severity of the strain. Right now, my keyboard tells me that the Thunder are -6 points over the Pacers. That will obviously jump if Tyrese does not play. How will Rick Carlisle replace Haliburton's 37 minutes per game? Or his 6+ rebounds per game? Of course, TJ McConnell will need to give Indy more than his normal 17+ minutes per game, 10.5 points per and 2 boards. And unless they find another option at point guard, maybe Carlisle suits up, that's a problem. Well maybe Ben Sheppard is an option, but he is only averaging 3+ points per game. So, which way do we turn? If Haliburton is out, we would buy OKC on the money line. If he plays, we'll take a pass. And either way, McConnell should see a bunch more minutes and that means we're gonna take TJ Over 10.5 points.
Then we swing out to San Francisco and will throw a few bucks at the Giants, but only if Logan Webb is on the hill. Webb has been pretty stingy the last three times out, allowing just 4 earned runs over 21 innings (1.71 ERA) with 21 Ks. And since the Guardians have only three wins in their last 11 games (not including last night), my heart and wallet are all in San Francisco.
