Las Vegas - Wheels UP! Is anyone spinning better than Zack Wheeler at the moment? Don't think so. Apparently, the oddsmakers at ESPN think that Paul Skenes (+$225) and Yoshinobu Yamamoto (+325) are better than Wheels (+$350). I beg to differ. Wheeler has thrown up only bagels over the last three starts. Talking about 19 innings, ZERO earned runs and 22 Ks. He has also won 13 of the last 14 at the Bank. And if you're looking at his ugly April 8 start against the Braves, in Atlanta (5 innings 8 hits, 5 earned runs), don't worry. That was on the road. Last season, he fed the Braves nothing but BAGELS in Philly, throwing 13 innings, ZERO earned with 12 Ks. Gonna ring the Liberty Bell and fatten up my wallet.

On the NHL ice, Carolina was eating pucks all night and avoided the golf course for at least one more day. Not sure the Hurricanes can pull off another W, but not sure my wallet is open. It's a pass.

On the NBA board, hesitant about laying the snowman and a hook, so will drop some cash on the Thunder, on the money line, because they AIN'T going back to Minnesota for a game six.
