Las Vegas - Northern Iowa vs. Drake is the first game up today on the Missouri Valley Conference slate, and we're on the Panthers from Cedar Falls. Northern doesn't get much love, much ink, or much chatter from the talking heads, but these kids can play. Don't believe me, just ask Ken Pomeroy, or KenPom as he is known around the country. For those that go to sleep early in the Eastern time zone, the Runnin' Rebels get to play on their HOME FLOOR! Yup, the same home floor where the Rebs just beat Boise State, 76-66 last Wednesday. That made it a 5-0 run for UNLV, straight up and against the spread. Boise's last six games turned into three wins and three losses.

The Rams at 20-11 overall, on paper, are clearly the better team in this matchup with the Cowboys, who limp in at 7-23. So, why in the world try Wyoming? These Cowboys never give up.
