Las Vegas - 75-13. Why throw some strange numbers at you? Because that was the combined score of the two games between the Eagles and the Cowboys last season. Yea, two severe beatdowns. Philly (-7) won the first game at Dallas 31-6, then blasted the 'Boys back home at the Linc 41-7. Before you get too excited about the Eagles dominance, lemme tell you about the QB situation. Dallas QBs went 17 of 29 for 49 yards with ZERO TDs in the first game, then 16 of 29 for 141 yards with 1 TD in the second game. I'll give you the names. Cooper Rush and Trey Lance. NOT a Dak Prescott to be found anywhere. Prescott played only eight games last season and his numbers were kinda average (185/286, 64.7%, 11 TDs and 8 INTs). When he was healthy, back in 2023 and played all 17 games, his numbers were off the charts. He completed 410 of 590 passes (69.5%) for 4,516 yards, with 36 TDs and 9 INTs. Brian Schottenheimer was the offensive coordinator for that season as well as 2024, so his transition to head coach should be seamless.

Now we talk about motivation. Jerry Jones was thrashed for his trade of Micah Parsons to the Packers, and rightly so. Maybe. He did get two first round draft picks and DT Kenny Clark. And Parsons has some back issues that might keep him out for a while. So, the Cowboys wanna prove that they can hang, but not so sure they have the talent. And not so sure about laying 8.5 points, so we'll take a quick ride to prop city. Gimme Dak Over 1.5 TDs, George Pickens Over 4.5 receptions and Jalen Hurts to score a TD. Of course, lemme reiterate, week one, so light is right.
